It was a night of tag-team tension on WWE Superstars last week as two pairings are on the verge of splitting.
The more surprising of the teams is the recently deposed former WWE Tag Team Champions, the Hart Dynasty.
Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith have suffered a number of defeats since losing their titles to the SmackDown pairing of “Dashing” Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre at Night of Champions three weeks ago.
On Superstars they came up against their fiercest rivals, adding to the long storyline history of two famous wrestling families, The Usos.
The Usos, sons of Rikishi and relatives of the Rock, have recently been able to find the key to defeating the last pair of wrestlers to emerge from the famous Hart submission Dungeon in Calgary Canada.
Massive boot
The Hart’s accidentally collided with each other to cause mayhem inside the ring, and in the ensuing chaos, Jimmy and Jey Uso both managed to hit huge top rope splashes on Kidd and pick up the victory.
The show ended with Kidd visibly damaged inside the ring and his partner Smith looking on asking what went wrong.
Their current fate seems in sharp contrast to their valet, Natalya, who has been feuding with, and getting the better of, the Co-Divas Champions Michelle McCool and Layla in recent times.
The other dramatic breakdown of a tag-team opened the show as Curt Hawkins brutally beat down his former partner Vance Archer after Archer suffered a singles loss to Chris Masters.
When Masters ducked a clothesline, Archer caught Hawkins who was standing on the ring apron, and while the two argued, the “Masterpiece” snuck from behind and locked in the MasterLock on Archer to gain a submission victory.
Afterwards, Hawkins entered the ring and hit a massive boot to Archer’s face, followed up with his Shawn Michaels style ‘Heat-Seeking Elbow’ from the top rope.
From Monday Night Raw this week, “British Brawler” William Regal picked up a quick and concise victory over former Nexus member, Darren Young.
Young, who was exiled by the dominant group after their loss at SummerSlam in August was no match for the veteran guile of Regal who picked up victory thanks to his inimitable Knee Trembler, a running Knee to the head.
