It is centrally located in the exclusive residential area of ‘Lutyens Delhi’ and close to the seat of government.
The hotel is the city’s landmark, centrally located, in close proximity to key areas.
It is a 40-minute drive from the airport and near the bustling city center, Connaught Place, Pragati Maidan, government offices and diplomatic missions.
Taj Mahal Hotel and palaces are part of The Tata Group, which is India’s premier business house established in 1903.
It is South Asia’s largest and finest Hotel Group comprising of 77 hotels and in 59 locations across India and 18 international hotels.
Taj Mahal Hotel general manager Digvijay Singh said the hotel reflects the heritage of Mughal Delhi and offers graceful architecture with modern facilities.
The warm, pristine white lobby of The Taj includes design details reminiscent of Mughal architecture such as intricate motifs, golden inlay work, and niches from ‘Shahjahanabad’, the erstwhile mogul capital.
The hotel is a veritable showcase of artifacts with the intricate design work of the lobby’s domes and panels perfectly complimenting the calm marble fountain streams.
The Taj Mahal Hotel’s culinary repertoire offers several choices.
It offers restaurants that are known dining destinations of the capital.
Each restaurant has established a distinct identity and a strong presence in the capital.
Machan, the city’s preferred international style coffee shop, the House of Ming, Delhi’s first Cantonese and Schezuan restaurant, Wasabi, the contemporary Japanese Restaurant, Varq, the fine dining Indian restaurant, Emperor’s Lounge for choicest teas and coffees and Ricks wokkerie and bar, voted best bar in the city.
Mr Singh said during the breaks of visitors’ schedule one may indulge in the finest Indian rejuvenation therapies at the Spa.
The Spa features signature treatments, Indian aromatherapy massages, time-honoured Indian treatments, body scrubs and wraps.
Also it offers yoga, meditation beauty treatments and an exclusive range of holistic healing therapies.
“While you are in Delhi, do take advantage of the concierge services at the hotel to explore the heritage of this historic city and vibrant culture,” Mr Singh said.
