Miss Preetika Prasad who works for the Tappoo Home and Leisure store has been selected for mega auditions in the search for Miss India Fiji 2011.
Coming from a humble family back ground Miss Prasad dreams big to establish herself among the top names in the world.
“I have been participating in a lot of talent shows in the country but the opportunity to be part of Miss India Fiji is something that I will hold dear to my heart.” Miss Prasad said.
Miss Prasad who has a dream of representing Fiji on the international stage said through Miss India Fiji I will advocate for women’s issues in the Pacific and pave ways for tourism development through international participation.
With Miss India Fiji being a platform that can bring a lot of changes Miss Prasad said the growing issue of violence against women in the world has stirred her to stand up and fight for it.
Miss Prasad said vying for Miss India Fiji crown won’t be easy way as the challenges grows bigger each day.
She said tourism has been a part of Fiji and through this pageant I would stand to advocate how beautiful Fiji is and why people should visit our shores.
With bigger dreams and challenges in mind the Suva less promises to make Fiji proud in international platforms.
