Commission chairman Dr Richard Wah said Fijian graduates from Malaysian universities have performed well.
He made the comment while launching the 4th Malaysia Education Exhibition at the Holiday Inn this week.
Dr Wah said the fact that Fiji and Malaysia have strengthened their partnership in the education sector was a promising achievement.
“This is given the relatively high degree of affordability of Malaysian courses to that of comparable courses in New Zealand and Australia and also due to the fact that there are travel restrictions on certain categories of our society,” Mr Wah said.
This year, Fiji had 24 sponsored students studying in Malaysia in various fields.
