Written By : JESSAN DOTON. What: Fins Restaurant
Where: Tanoa Waterfront Hotel, Marine Drive, Lautoka
Cuisine: International
Opening hours: 6.30 am-9.30 pm 7 days
These are the two dishes that impresses me: (1) Tanoa Beef Burger. Good serve, good quantity, laid out stylishly, comes with fries and salad.
Very delicious, soft sesame seed bun, fries are always a good quantity and crispy accompanied by a basket of various sauces provided. Garnished enticingly and served to international standards.
For the premier hotel in Lautoka, and part of the largest local chain of hotels, the food is good value for money and highly recommended.

Curries : Indian thali
Supposedly one of the most popular dishes at the hotel, and said to always win the liking and favour of tourists. A very attractive serve, laid out gracefully in a thali of small bowls. Comes with additional condiments like dhal (lentil soup), some vegetarian curries like bean and eggplant and potatoes, papadum, and pickles. Also and served with roti and rice.
Great value for money, generous servings, very scrumptious and most satisfying for big appetites.
Fins restaurant: idyllic location, facing the Marine Drive, set-up to international standards, has a good international touch. The restaurant has a oceanic theme as the name states.
Dessert: latte and cappucino, Latte: served in a proper latte cup, very nicely brewed and blended, some very skilled local baristas.
CONCLUSION :
Good value for money, being the premier hotel in Lautoka, which is rated four star by the 3A tourism group.
