Matthews succeeds Bossley at the top
Written By : RACHNA LAL. Mark Matthews is the new president of the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation.
Mr Matthews, managing director of Rentokil Initial, succeeds Digby Bossley, of management consultants Bossley and Associates, following the federation’s annual general meeting.
This was held during the federation’s TOPEX conference at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, Denarau.
Mr Bossley had completed his two-year term.
Mr Matthews was a director.
He told the Fiji Sun he will uphold the values and mission of the federation.
“FCEF has been in existence for awhile and I hope to continue to build the relationship with the private sector and the employers in general.” he said.
He added that the success of the TOPEX conference this year was a positive indication.
He said that from all the response he has received everyone was impressed and had something useful and worthy to take back with them.
The TOPEX Conference was closed last night by the president, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
