After the church service on Sunday last, my friends from Canada decided to have “Yum’Cha” at a restaurant by the sea front in Suva. It was wonderful to see and meet other folks from around these parts of the woods at the venue.
We enjoyed our food until towards the end when a breeze was a blowing.
Firstly a stench of rotting food wafted across our table.
Initially we chose to ignore it then when persistence set in we decided to leave but not without visiting the convenience first. What I saw and smelt was shocking.
The stench of urine was so strong that I has to exit pronto or bring up all the food I had in me.Pray tell me how is it that this restaurant is making so much money and yet cannot keep their toilets clean. Perhaps many customers do not mind the uncleanliness of such practises because their homes are close by and they can go to their homes if the need arises.
