Currently Fiji is welcoming a real boost to their tourist numbers with a huge influx of overseas tourists.  Naisoso Island has been very busy hosting many of these tourists.
Naisoso Island managing director, Bob Lowres, has seen a real trend develop with the current visitors to Naisoso largely made up of Fiji people currently living abroad wanting to return to their homeland.
Many Fijians moved away because of past political troubles, job opportunities, furthering their children’s education, and so on.  However, the scene has changed significantly in Fiji, and with the opportunities now presented, people are wanting  a lifestyle that Fiji offers.
Naisoso Island ticks all the boxes for living a superb lifestyle with beautiful weather, white sandy beaches, a boutique retail and commercial precinct that will rival the best in the world, proximity to the international airport, great security and amazing picturesque views.
Mr Lowres commented “over the past month we have seen people from all over the world visit Naisoso however most have come from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and United States and many of these are Fijians living abroad and wanting to return home.
“These people are often successful business people however Fiji is the place that is still in their hearts,” Mr Lowres said.
Mr Lowres continued, “This has been an extraordinarily busy week with a number of Chinese along with Fijians wanting to return to their homeland.
“These people have done very well overseas and are now wanting to enjoy the fruits of their efforts.
“They see Fiji as an ideal place to invest with an eye on their future retirement”.
Australia and New Zealand continue to be very active purchasers on Naisoso Island, this trend being largely in line with the record tourist levels from these two countries.
