Samabula defeated Wailoku 4-3 in the Suva Football club games at Albert Park yesterday.
Nigerian Sanni Issa showed class when he scored three goals and also helped in the 7-1 thumping of Balolo earlier on.
Suva FA vice-president Niranjan Prasad said Issa was too good for his opponents and he teamed up well with other Suva reps in the Samabula team.
“In the first game against Balolo, Issa scored four goals with  Suva reps Leone Damudamu, Joseph Mishra and Cedrik Dutt scoring a goal each,” Prasad said.
He added Issa stood out in their game against Wailoku which had Suva reps Luke Haeterea and Ralph Sherwin.
“Sherwin scored two of Wailoku’s three goals but it wasn’t enough.”
He said after the round of games yesterday,  Suva has three more rounds to go before their season ends.
“Next week we’ll see which teams can play as we need reps to prepare for the Courts Inter District Championship.”
