As submissions to the Constitution Commission start in the Northern Division today, teachers, school managements and students gathered at Shri Guru Nanak Khalsa College in Labasa yesterday to prepare.
A workshop funded by the UNAIDS was led by the president of the School Management Association of Fiji, Govind Singh.
Mr Sami challenged the young students, teachers and managers to come out today and voice their opinions for the constitution.
“Can we have your say; Vanua Levu your voice must be heard,” Mr Singh said.
“A lot has been said about Vanua Levu being neglected for this constitutional forum but… they should be able to come out and raise their concerns.
“We want people in Vanua Levu to come out in numbers and have a say, this is your chance.”
The association began their Constitutional preparation workshop since last Friday in Savusavu, in Seqaqa on Saturday and yesterday in Labasa.
