The Labasa soccer team aims to defend their Courts Inter-District Championship title in Ba next week.
Labasa Football interim president Bhim Reddy says players are committed and devoted to make it happen.
The Babasiga Lions have also lifted the suspension of Apisai Sesewa.
“We don’t want to deprive any player from taking part in the annual event,” Reddy said.
He also stated that they are trying their best to bring New Zealand-based Roy Krishna over for the IDC.
He says former coach Ivor Evans has family commitments but he’s most welcome to help the team in Ba.
“Coach Bal is getting good response from the players.”
Reddy is working to get the players fit for the IDC
“This is the right time people of Labasa should support the team financially because some of these players have families,” he said.
