“But I would love to see a more control and open game.”
Stone has set targets for the Fiji Bati team as campaign builds up for the World Cup next year.
“My main aim is to try and get our Bati team to beat Italy in October 12 then we will try to expose our local boys to compete in NRL level.”
Melbourne Storm winger Sisa Waqa and Fiji Bati captain Wes Naiqama were tagged as a good athletes that the local players could follow their footsteps.
“Sisa played in the NRL grand final and other good athlete was Naiqama.
“They have a lot of courage, speed and excellent defensive skills and I know more of our local boys will join them on the international stage in the future.
