The appeal case by Indian national Muskan Balaggan has been adjourned to the 19th of this month for a continuation of hearing.

Balaggan was sentenced to eleven-and-a half years in jail in June this year after being convicted of attempted export of illicit drugs and unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

She was represented by Samanunu Vaniqi after her previous lawyers – Gordon and Chaudhry Associates – withdrew from representing her.
