Customers of BSP Life are now benefiting through the extension of the company’s electronic channel networks.
This means that customers who bank with Westpac and ANZ will soon be able to pay their insurance premiums through the two banks internet and phone banking channels.
The initiative, which was activated on September 17, has already seen BSP Life customers start to pay their premiums through these channels.
BSP Life managing director, Malakai Naiyaga, said: “This latest service enhancement is an efficient and convenient mode of payment and gives our customers greater choice when paying premiums.”
Early this year, BSP Life introduced premium payments channels with BSP internet banking, mobile banking channels with Vodafone and Digicel and EFTPOS premium payments using debit or credit cards.
Mr Naiyaga said this was another customer service initiative that took advantage of technology and we hoped customers who bank with BSP, Westpac and ANZ would make use of these facilities.
“We also wish to thank ANZ and Westpac for partnering with us in this initiative,” he said.
The EFTPOS payment system piloted in Suva in January this year and was later introduced to Lautoka, Nausori, Nadi and Labasa Customer Services Centres.
BSP Life has over 50,000 customers.
