DENARAU
DEBATE
The stakeholders of Denarau are not ready to give up without a fight. A Denarau Corporation Limited meeting is scheduled for Monday to push the issue further.
Interesting to see what is decided. It seemed that a decision was already made to charge a toll to pay for a new bridge to the tourism and good living mecca. People are not ready to fork out money every time they have to enter Denarau.

FIJIAN
SPIRIT
Another meeting of the Facebook group You Know You are a Fijian When… was held yesterday. These guys mean business. It is good to note that they are willing to put their money where their mouth is, unlike many who sit offshore and criticise every move we make.

THE LAW ON
LAWYERS
More lawyers are going to be taken to task soon. You read it here first. The Independent Legal Services Commission will not allow legal eagles who take advantage of people.

TAKING
SHAPE
Much excitement amongst the social set in our capital. Air Pacific is travelling First Class in arrangements for the latest announcement in its stylish new Fiji Airways rebrand. It’s Wednesday night, Fiji Day. Events start with a cocktail and big-screen show at Village Six. Then guests head across the road to Tappoo City for celebration festivities. Party time.
