Ashvir Singh.
Suva.

I refer to the new allocated parking spaces along Gordon Street, Suva.
These new parking spaces are a hazard to drivers pulling onto Gordon street from Malcom Street, Kimberly Street and Goodenough Street as one would have drive halfway onto Gordon street to safely see the oncoming traffic before completely driving onto Gordon Street as parked cars on these new spaces obstruct clear view of the oncoming traffic.
The previous “No Stopping” sign was there for a very good reason, which is to give a clear view of oncoming traffic and as Gordon Street is usually very busy this made driving on to it safe.
I drive in and out of Gordon Street several times a day and it has become a lot more hazardous now and I have had some close calls in the past few days. I request the relevant authority to please look into this matter for safety’s sake.
