The Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge between Lautoka and Suva will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori on Saturday.
Suva Rugby Union secretary Maika Waqavatu made the confirmation yesterday.
“Our supporters have been travelling down to the West for the last two consecutive weeks and we want to have this last challenge for them,”he said.
“This is to give our supporters in Suva and the Central Division an opportunity to witness and show their support for the Suva team.”
He added it was not about bringing the game out of Lautoka because having it at Churchill Park would be an advantage to the sugar city team.
“It’s not about that, we want this last challenge to be witnessed by all our supporters including our good friends in Tailevu, Northland, Rewa and Naitasiri to come and support us in the last important match of 2012,” he said.
Meanwhile, during last weekend’s challenge between Naitasiri and Suva, the Maroons watched the game with coach Epeli Lagiloa.
Suva will try to defend the Farebrother for the second time after a close 14-12 win against Naitasiri.
