Labasa Muslim College returns to the 76th Courts Secondary School Inter- District Championship after a lapse of seven years.
And team manager Mohammed Taj says hard work has paid off for them to qualify for the annual event. “We have prepared well for the IDC,” said Taj.
“The team played as the Labasa Under-21 in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries playoff against Rewa and Ba over the weekend.
“We lost to Rewa 4 -1 and 6 – 0 to eventual winners, Ba.
“We used the games to prepare us for the IDC.
The team will be captained by Jale Dreloa. Labasa Muslim College plays its first game against debutant Baulevu High School at Govind Park, Ba at 11.30am on Thursday.
