The Fiji Football Association last night decided to stay with 10 teams in the National Football League.
It came in the congress at Ba on the eve of the interdistrict tournament.
This is despite the push by the sponsors to consider reducing to eight teams to lift standards and interest.
Despite the concerns raised by Nadi, Lautoka and Suva, National League board chairman assured the meeting that they will need to talk and convince the sponsor again for 2012-2013.

Sahu Khan no more
The Sahu Khan Football Academy will be given a new name.
And the Fiji Football Association will soon be calling for tenders from corporate bodies for the naming rights of the sports complex.
The complex was named after long-serving FFA president Dr M. S. Sahu Khan.
The Fiji FA board will decide next month who to replace vice-president Dewan Chand.
