Navua kept up its giant killer tag after beating Lautoka 1-0 in the third Superpremier game on day two of the 2012 Courts IDC at Ba’s Govind Park.

Inoke O’Connor was the difference – scoring through a drive from outside the Lautoka penalty area that beat Jone Sorolo in the 47th minute.

Navua beat defending champion Labasa on day one and has to win one of its two remaining games to qualify for the semifinals.

In the first 30 minutes Lautoka enjoyed the lion’s share of possession, but could not make inroads because of a strong Navua defence.
