Former Fiji and Labasa midfielder Buli Cama aims to help his Nadogo team earn a place in the Super Premier grade in future.
At 47 years, the Vunivutu, Nadogo, Macuata native played at midfield in the Courts IDC premier division yesterday.
He played alongside the late Simon Peter, Epeli Levaci and Taniela Tuilevuka and was also instrumental in the Babasiga Lions side that was once holders of the local soccer titles in the early 1990s. “It’s all about uplifting the standard of soccer in Nadogo,” Cama said.
“Most of these players need development and this is why I am here to assist them.
“They need someone to help them so that they can develop their football.” Nadogo lost to Tailevu/Naitasiri 0- 4 yesterday however this hasn’t deter them.
Cama said that while Nadogo still had a long way to go in soccer, he believed that the game of football was all about learning and improving.
