Navua plays Ba in the first Super Premier semifinal while Pool Two champions Suva takes on Lautoka in the second semifinal today.
Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Bob Kumar is hoping for a good turnout in the final day of the Courts Inter-District Championship at Ba’s Govind Park today.
“The game should be exciting and very competitive and we are hoping for a better turnout,”Kumar said.
“The turnout was poor in the second, third day and today,” Kumar said.
Kumar praised the level of competition each super premier teams have displayed.
“ In this year’s IDC we cannot write off  any team. Teams like Navua really improved in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League, Fiji FACT and Battle of the Giants as they defeated big teams like Labasa and Lautoka,
“Even Savusavu and Nadroga really improved. This impressed us,” Kumar added.
“All teams played the 90 minutes of football very well.”
In the Premier division final Tailevu-Naitasiri will take on Taveuni. In the secondary school division defending champions Central College Lautoka takes on Labasa Muslim College and in the primary school division Ba will meet Lautoka.
The first Super Premier semifinal kicks off at 9am.Gates will open at 7am.
