The 2012 Courts Inter-District Championship final between Finance Pacific Suva and 4R Electrical Ba was called off at Govind Park last night.
And the Fiji Football Association will rule on the winner later.
This happened after the Ba team walked out of the field after they refused to accept the referee’s decision in allowing the goal by Suva’s Waisake Navunagasau in extra time.
The Fiji Police Force and Fiji Football Association had to intervene to diffuse the tension after Ba fans became rowdy.
Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel made a statement to thousands of spectators present at the ground last night.

“The game has been abandoned and the decision on the winner will be made in due course by the Fiji Football,” Patel said.
Suva team officials wanted the decision to be made there and then whereas the Ba team officials wanted a fair decision to be made and that the goal that was headed in by Navinagasau did not go in.
According to the television replay, witnessed by some Fiji FA officials and sports commentator, it was the clear goal.
Former district reps that came from overseas to witness the game urged teams and officials never to challenge a referee decision.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ravi Narayan made the Fiji Police statement to spectators that no one is above the law and if anyone found breaking the law will be taken to task.
This was after the Ba fans started to use abusive language against the referee and Suva team and officials.
The Finance Pacific Suva side were transported and escorted out of the field to camp by the Fiji Police Force last night.
