Wily coach Gurjit Singh is going to stay on with Suva for another season.
He confirmed this yesterday and later revealed that their next target is to win the National Football League next year and make it to the O-League competition.
Taking over this year, Singh earlier guided Suva to win the Vodafone Fiji FACT title where they beat Ba 1-0 in the final at Govind Park in Ba.
Finance Pacific Suva being declared champions for the 2012 Courts Inter-District Championship was a back-to-back victory for Singh who last year coached Labasa to win the country’s prestigious soccer title at the National Stadium in Suva.
The former Labasa goalkeeper told SUNsports that dedication and sincerity is his secret recipe.
“You have to be dedicated. Preparation is very important and you have to work hard and be sincere to anything you do and you will be champions at the end of the day. I train my players not only to win but be dedicated and sincere in everything they do,” Singh said.
The former school teacher also pointed out that nothing is hard for Fiji to develop the sport but what is needed is a lot of hard work.
“I will stay with Suva and will help them to win the national league title and perhaps the Battle of the Giants,” he said.
