Vinod Patel and Company Limited, in association with Makita (New Zealand) Limited, last week hosted a trade show on Makita products in Suva and Nadi.
This annual event allowed clientele knowledge exchange on the products that Makita has in Vinod Patel and how best they can be managed.
Vinod Patel manager sales and operations for regional central, Prasanna Dharmasena, said: “The trade night invites clients and prospective customer to take advantage of the rock bottom prices on Makita products.
“We have notice that it is a huge success and many of the clients are showing signs of satisfaction.
“This shows that the brand Makita is a well-sought after brand and its quality is of the best.
“As a market leader in power tools, we have invested in our personnels to be trained in New Zealand so we have certified trade and sales personal to cater for all customers needs.”
Makita client care manager, Graham Norris, said Makita was the leading brand of power tools in New Zealand and in Fiji.
“This is because we have a policy of backing our product up wherever possible,” Mr Norris said.
“We’re trying to make the tools as bullet-proof as possible because we know that in New Zealand, Australia and in Fiji, we work the tools extremely hard.
“So we’re trying to put in little safety features and things like that so that you (clients) won’t kill it.”
Overall there are 350 machines, spares and accessories in New Zealand with 70 of these products available at Vinod Patel outlets.
Vinod Patel product co-ordinator tools, Ram Narayan said: “If you need a tool on which you can trust, always buy Makita and if you buy at Vinod Patel, you can always get a backup, and after sale service is available.”
