The Solomon Islands has donated $100,000 to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund to help those who were affected by the flooding in the Western Division in January and April this year.

The resident Solomon Islands High Commissioner to Fiji, Paterson Oti, presented the money to Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama at his office in Government Buildings in Suva.

Commodore Bainimarama thanked the government of Solomon Islands for its assistance, which he said would greatly assist the people of Fiji.
