Joeli Naleca of Suva wants to confirm an interesting situation “whether we add milk to tea or vice versa”.
It is a good question as tea is arguably one of the most popular drinks in the world and people take it with or without milk.
Those who enjoy real tea do not add any additives such as milk, sugar, sweeteners, etc.  These additives do not improve but guises the real taste of the tea.
Information is also around that milk cancels the health benefits of tea.
Tea has compounds that play a role in preventing cancer and heart diseases.
Black and green tea is an excellent anti-oxidant.
However, milk is also essential and a good dietary food, full of nutrition and should be part of our regular diet for all age groups.
I would rather drink both tea and milk but separately on its own and enjoy the taste and benefits of each.
By the way ‘masala’ tea and that made with whole full cream farm fresh milk like that in most Punjabi homes are also awesomely delicious too.
