Former national prop Epeli Naituivau is no longer employed by the Fiji Rugby Union.
This was after he failed to report to work after the Christmas break.
FRU development officer Alifereti Mocelutu confirms Natuivau was not sacked.
“He wasn’t sacked,”Mocelutu said. “We started work after the Christmas break and Epeli hasn’t turned up since.
“He never informed us whether he was sick and we didn’t even have any request for him to take leave,” Mocelutu said.
He said because there was no sort of request for leave from Naituivau, they had to issue a termination letter.
National trainer Nacanieli Cawanibuka is also suspended.
