Discipline is a factor lacking in the Fijiana side, says Timoci Wainiqolo.
The Fijiana coach was disappointed at the turnout last Saturday as the side prepares for the IRB Women’s Sevens World Series in China on April 5-6.
Wainiqolo said some players have not been attending training since their first session a fortnight ago and again over the weekend.
“I will not entertain indiscipline,”Wainiqolo said.
“Some of the girls have missed on the first two training sessions so we will have to let them go.
“We have a 30 member squad and I will drop players if they do not pull up their socks.”
The 30 member squad was given their training programme, gym and diet programme to follow which will help to maintain their fitness.
“Right now we are focusing on skills and fitness training.
“We do not have enough competition so we just split the squad into two teams and play.”
The Sawani, Bua man believes that a positive outcome in China depends on the sacrifice of the girls.
“We will need to maintain fitness, discipline and get everything right for the girls as we prepare for China,”he said.
“It will not be an easy road for us but we will have to be dedicated to achieve our target.”
