Busy day at funeral gathering

It was another busy day yesterday as crowds flock to pay their last respects to the late president of the Methodist Church in Fiji, Reverend Dr Tuikilakila Waqairatu.
The people of Bau, led by led by Ratu Apenisa Cakobau, presented their ireguregu at Jubilee Hall.
The people of Bau said the Reverend’s death was a great loss for the Methodist Church.
Also presenting their ireguregu yesterday was Social Empowerment Fiji (SEF).
Reverend James Bhagwan also paid tribute to the late president’s wife and immediate family at the official residence in Pender Street, Suva.
Pastors from the Methodist Church in the Western Division will meet at the Jubilee Hall today to present their ireguregu.
Also presenting their ireguregu was the Turaga Na Vunivalu – Kubuna, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and Rewa.
More than 30 groups presented their ireguregu yesterday including the Methodist circuit of Kinoya, Bau and Makoi.
Reverend Waqairatu will be laid to rest on Thursday.
