What Happened: The Dennis Singh-coached Lautoka side suffered their fifth loss after being trounced 0-6 by 4R Electrical Ba in the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League match at Churchill Park yesterday.
The ‘Men in Black’ leaps into second position in the league table behind unbeaten Suva.
Ten minutes into the game, the Blues exerted immediate control while Ba tried to get the feel of the game.
In the 12th minute Osea Vakatalesau drew first blood with a well timed shot to beat Lautoka goalkeeper Alivereti Baleiloa.
In the 21st minute Ba defender Josevata Neibuli brought hardworking Arvindra Naidu in the box and Alvin Avinesh scored from the spot.
In the 41st minute Jone Vesikula extended the lead after Mavileko Nakama was fouled by Mitieli Namuka in the box.
Ba outplayed the Blues in the second half with goals by Ronil Kumar, Vakatalesau, Avinesh Suwamy and nippy Abhu Zahid.
Ba can be very proud of their team as they gear up for the OFC Champions League in April.
The Big Play: On numerous occasions Lautoka midfielder Arvindra Naidu orchestrated move but the Blues strikers failed,
Star Turn: Ba striker Vakatalesau lived up to his name as one of the best strikers in the country scoring two goals.

Ba team manager Arvind Singh: “I’m happy with how the boys played. We have played Lautoka many times this season and they have to pull up their socks if they are stay in the Super Premier division.
Lautoka Coach Dennis Singh, “We were in the game but Ba kept on scoring the goals and we lost the plot. Ba played a good match.”
