The Namosi Rugby Union started their 2014 season at Thomson Park, Navua last Saturday.
The union hosted a 10s tournament for teams wishing to join the competition this season.
Tournament coordinator, Navitalai Naivalurua said the objective was to scout for more talents for the provincial teams.
“It also gave new teams game time and find out what it would be like to be competing in the Namosi Rugby Union,”Naivalurua said.
“We also would like to pick a team that will hopefully take us to the final of the Vodafone Cup this year.”
A good turnout was at Thomson Park.
“The Namosi Rugby needs all the support from fans,”he said.
“Namosi has produced many players who have represented Fiji in 7s and 15s.
