The Fiji Bus Operators Association has confirmed that it will monitor the weather before normalising bus services around the country.
Association’s general secretary Rohit Latchan said as a result of the bad weather yesterday, some buses had stopped operating and the services were severely disrupted.
“We had some buses operating between Suva and Nausori corridor yesterday as people were still moving about,” Mr Latchan said.
Mr Latchan said passenger safety was paramount for the association.
