The 38th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament volunteers will enjoy Chicken Express during the two-day tourney starting today at the ANZ Stadium.
Chicken Express director Nick Sharma said it was for the love of the game that they decided to partner with Marist Rugby Club for the first time.
“We are a family-oriented company so we did not think twice about sponsoring the tournament.
“We are from the rugby town of Nadroga we know what rugby is for the people in Fiji.
“This is one way we can give back to the sport through providing something for the volunteers.”
Sharma said as one of the major sponsors for the tournament, they would ensure their assistance got bigger next year.
Fiji Bitter Marist 7s chairman of the organising committee Lawrence Tikaram lauded the support from the company.
“Having one of our local brand supporting one of the major 7s tournament is a huge plus.
“They will be providing meals for our volunteers for the two days.”
