Thirty-two teams compete for Vanua Challenge

Sixteen volleyball teams from the Western division and 16 from the Central/ Eastern division will compete at the Vanua Challenge as from Friday.
Fiji Volleyball’s Kenneth Lidise confirms there will be prize purse for the winners at the FMF National Gym.
“We are expecting tougher competitions in the men’s divisions especially teams from the Western division,”Lidise said. We want to see fair competition during the two days.
“Most of the times competition in the men’s is dominated by the Central/Eastern teams but what we want to see Western teams making a mark this year.” The teams to watch are Lautoka, Topline, Kenani, Nadi and Ba.
For the women’s division defending champions Suva, Vatuwaqa and Security Forces will be the favorites. Vatuwaqa,Security Forces will also provide a good challenge,” Lidise said.
Registration fee is $100 per team and fees to be paid by Thursday.
Admission is $4 (adult), $1(children) and $2 for players and officials.
