And more exciting competition is expected after a major upset was created with Danam defeating Lautoka Knights by 5 wickets.
The Knights won the toss and elected to bat first but were outclassed by Danam scoring 106/6 in 12 overs.
Lautoka Cricket Association media manager Rukesh Patel says the competition is getting tough.
“Lautoka Knights lead round one with 129 points,”Patel said.
He says players, after round one of competition, now have a fair idea of their opponents strength and the areas on which they can improvise on.
“We are expecting more tough competition as we step into the semi-final matches.”
Patel further said players who have been selected to represent Lautoka for the Crompton Cup are being monitored.
Meanwhile, in the other match Moce West defeated Nasaqalau Sharks by 6 wickets.
