The Fiji Under-18 women hockey team officials are working hard on getting the details right.
The team is preparing for the 2014 Youth Olympics Games in Nanjing, China on August 16-28.
Coach Tai Smith says the team will resume training on April 28.
“Many of our players are currently taking part in athletics for their schools,”Smith said.
The team is currently training with the High Performance Unit with the two national coaches, Hector Smith and Allison Southey.
“When the girls join me again on the first week of school holidays we will be running competitions again for the extended squad.
“We will then select 15 players on April 10 which will represent Fiji at the Youth Olympics.
“The girls have given their best in the Olympics Qualifiers in Vanuatu and we should maintain the momentum in China,” Smith added.
