The Kamal Swamy-coached Shop N Save Nadi side has beaten 4R Electrical Ba for second spot in the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League points table.
This was after the team beats the ‘Men in Black’ 2-1 at Prince Charles Park yesterday.
Undefeated Suva tops the log with 21 points, ahead of Nadi on 18, Ba (16) and Labasa (12).
What happened: The ‘Jetsetters’ performed to expectation under floodlights.
Ba as usual started well with Peni Finau attacking the Nadi goal but failed to beat Nadi goalkeeper Vereti Dickson.
In the 11th minute Samuela Drudru got a good pass from Napolioni Qasevakatini as he had only to beat Ba goalie Epeli Codro but shot over the cross bar.
In the 18th minute saw Peni Finau beat Dickson to score the first goal.
Qasevakatini had his luck at the 31st minute to level the score.
In the 23rd minute later Qasevakatini broke the hearts of the Ba fans as he scored the second goal. Halftime: Nadi 2 – 1Ba.
Both teams came back in the second spell firing but failed to score.
Big star: striker Napolioni Qasevakatini played a man-of-the-match performance.
Big play: Samuela Drudru combined well with Shafeel Buksh in midfield.

Nadi coach Kamal Swamy said, “It was a hard fought victory tonight as Ba was in full force. We had luck as we scored two fast goals to win today and I thank the boys.”
Ba coach/manager David Ali said, “We came to win but we lost to a better Nadi side. The boys were told what to do and they started very well but this is football.”
