Josua Tuwere is rejoining the Fiji Sun and boosting our election coverage team.
Mr Tuwere returns to the Fiji Sun on Monday after a three-month stint as Director of Communications in the Elections Office. He resigned from this because of family commitments, something his new role at the Fiji Sun will enable him to meet.

Publisher/CEO Peter Lomas said Mr Tuwere will write and edit elections coverage. He joins as a key member of the elections team the Fiji Sun established led by Rosi Doviverata.
Mr Lomas added: “We’re going into a critical period for the whole nation. Josua’s role is going to be important in this. We’re all delighted to see him back in journalism.”
Meanwhile, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem confirmed Mr Tuwere’s resignation.
