Fijian shooter Glen Kable finished in 11th place in the men’s trap event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games yesterday.
Kable fought to qualify for the second round of competition and collected a total of 44 points.

Bowling
In the womens triples lawn bowl Fiji defeated Canada 17-16 and Cook Islands while in the men’s fours Fiji played Wales after an impressive win over Kenya 17-7 in their first match.
In the Mens singles Samuela Tuikiligana will play Abdul Rais of Malaysia. The Womens pair’s event will see Fiji playing against Jersey.

Weightlifting
Apolonia Vaivai will compete in the womens 75kg event today.
This is the performance that team Fiji is looking forward to. Chef De Mission Lyndall Fisher said Vaivai should produce positive results.
“Vaivai has prepared well and she should put up a good performance,” Fisher said.
