The Shop N Save Nadi side is gearing up for their third win against neighbours Nadroga in the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League.
The Green Machine will take on the Stallions this Sunday at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka at 3pm.
But Nadi team manager Kamlesh Sami says it will not be an easy task.
“It will not be easy task to defeat Nadroga and playing in front of their home crowd will surely be a morale boost for the Stallions therefore we will give it our very best,’’ Sami said.
“Nadroga lost to Ba in their previous encounter but we do not underestimate them.”
Ba hosted Nadroga in an epic 8-1 win last Saturday.
“Nadroga is an unpredictable side and will be hungry for a win against us this Sunday.
Nadi had lost three matches to Nadroga in the Fiji SUN/Skipper Tuna National Football League competition last season.
But this time the jet setters wish to beat Nadroga on home turf.
And missing from the clash this Sunday will be Lekima Gonerau and Jone Salauneune after sustaining injuries in their previous clash against Navua together with Amani Makoe.
“The side will miss the services of Gonerau and Salauneune, however we are yet to receive confirmation if Makoe has recovered from his ankle injury.
“We will be in full force because all the teams are vying for the top two places.’’ Sami said.
The Green Machine is optimistic for their third win which could see the side making their third appearance in the OFC Champions League in 2015.
Nadi has 21 points from three losses and seven wins at second place while Nadroga sits on the bottom two. Suva leads the table with 24 points from eight wins.
Sami said the side was in full form after winning two matches against Ba 2-1 and Navua 3-2.

Other matches at 3pm
Ba- Lautoka at Govind Park, Ba.
Labasa – Suva at ANZ Stadium, Suva.
Rewa – Navua at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori
