Famous Pacific comedians the Laughing Samoans will be expecting a good turnout when they perform their new show “Fresh off da Blane” at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this evening.
The duo Eteuati Ete and Tofiga Fepulea’i assured the public they will be performing a show never to be missed.
“You have not seen anything like this show, this is the first time we are doing the show here in Fiji and it has not come out in DVD yet.
“With the cost of ticket going for $5 it will be a great opportunity for the people to come and watch the show,” Mr Ete said.
He said that they would always be expecting a lot of laughter from the crowd.
The show is expected to have much entertainment varying from skits on different stories and jokes.
Making it possible for the anticipated audiences the show comes with the courtesy of a partnership between the Walk On Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji and the Uto ni Yalo Trust, along with generous sponsors.
The WOWS Kids Fiji was inspired by the late Tae Kami who suffered from a rare cancer of the jaw and passed away in August 2008.
Kami wrote a song ‘Walk On Walk Strong’ as an encouragement to other patients and families struggling with cancer.
Mr Ete said that Kami was one of the reasons they loved to make people laugh.
“The greatest joy that we get is when we visit people, like for example when we visited Tae when she told us that our comedies and DVD’s gave her joy and a lot of relief from the pain that she was suffering. The show will also feature at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva at 5pm tomorrow.
