RC Manubhai Suva faces an uphill battle when they face defending champions BLK Nadroga in the Skipper Cup semifinals at Lawaqa Park today.
Suva coach Salimoni Ravouvou said no matter what happened in the preparation stages it was what the boys did on the day that counted.
“Going up against a champion team like Nadroga will not be easy and even though we are preparing well; it’s what happens on game day that counts most,” he said.
Suva beat Vatukoula 33-29 two weeks ago to clinch a spot in the semis.
“We struggled a bit getting into fourth place and we know it will be a different ball game facing Nadroga,” Ravouvou said.
“We need to make sure we play 80 minutes rugby.”
Ravouvou urged Suva fans to show up in numbers to support the team.
