The Fiji National University (FNU) and the State University of Papua (UNIPA) last Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Friday at the FNU’s boardroom in Nasinu.
This helped to recognise the existing relationship between the two institutions. Earlier this year, FNU and UNIPA signed a letter of intent which enabled both parties to promote cultural, educational, scholarly exchange as well as collaboration through technical interchange.
The MOU signing showed the growing relationship between the two universities
The UNIPA delegation at the ceremony was headed by UNIPA rector, Dr Suriel Mofu, along with three of its staff, as well as members of the Indonesian Embassy.
Dr Mofu acknowledged FNU for the opportunity and said they have a lot to learn from it.
