The late Seleima Tuisese was laid to rest on Friday at Nausori Village cemetery.
She is the youngest daughter of legendary former national rugby captain and coach, former government minister and now business leader Ratu Ilaitia Tuisese.
Miss Tuisese has been battling with cancer for a few years before she succumbed to the illness on July 18 while undergoing therapy in China.
She attended primary school at Nausori District School and moved to Adi Cakobau School to complete her secondary education.
Her first cousin, Mereani Rokotuibau, said Miss Tuisese was a person who was full of love and entertainment.
“Seleima is known for her laugh, jokes and most importantly her love for her family,” she said.
She said the number of people who turned out for the funeral service signified the life Seleima lived.
“We all knew Seleima as someone who was always very encouraging and cheerful. God’s time is the best and we know that he has prepared a better peaceful place for Seleima,”Ms Rokotuibau said.
Mourners including family, close friends and Government officials were part of the service.
