Carptrac handed over equipment to Fjii Roads Authority during its 85 anniversary celebration.
The celebration was offi ciated by WR Carpenters (SP) Limited Group chief executive Tan Sri Sir Ninian Mogan Lourdenadin at the Carptrac head office in Raiwai on Friday night.
Carptrac officially handed over two new units of CAT 422F Back hoes to FRA. Carptrac managed to secure the tender despite stiff competition from other brands.
Company equipment salesperson, Dharmend Prasad, said FRA showed confidence and chose Carptrac as the preferred supplier.
“We look forward to building on our business relationship and the opportunity to supply more machines in the near future,” Mr Prasad.
FRA chief executive Neil Cook said: “I would like to pay tribute to Caterpillar people who made sure FRA had what I would consider the top brand equipment on the market worldwide on our islands of Kadavu and Rotuma.”
Digicel Fiji is also another business partner showing confidence in Carptrac’s Caterpillar products. The Caterpillar Olympian generators are supplied with 24 months warranty for Standby applications limited to 500 hours per year. Hilton Organisation also received a donation boost of 10 iPads as part of the company’s continuous corporate social responsibility programme.
