The award-winning Adi Chocolate Fiji is aiming to get more international market exposure through participating in upcoming events abroad.

Adi Chocolate will be exhibiting at the Fine Food 2014 Exhibition Melbourne, Australia from September 15 to 18 as the Pacific Islands Trade and Invest has provided a booth for the company.

Adi Chocolate Fiji managing director, Tomohito Zukoshi, said the purpose of participating at these exhibitions was to increase exports of their ready-made products and build business contacts.

Mr Zukoshi acknowledged the sugar industry’s help in producing quality chocolates which has raised the quality of their chocolates.

The company currently exports chocolate to Japan, the United States and England but plans are underway to start exporting to Geneva in Switzerland, Sweden and Paris in France.

Mr Zukoshi, however, highlighted that for the next couple of years, they would try to focus more on Adi Chocolate Fiji’s availability in the domestic market.
