Radisson Blu Resort Fiji welcomed Ryan Henshaw to the food and beverage team in the important role of Food and Beverage specialist.

Mr Henshaw has worked most reecently in the Australian hotel industry for over five years.

His experience over this time included two years at Novotel Sydney Olympic Park in a senior food and beverage position.

Over the two and a half years prior to his move to Fiji he has been the Food and Beverage Manager at the Ibis Sydney Airport.

During his time at that property there was a full refurbishment of the kitchen and restaurant areas and Ryan led the team through this significant improvement.

Mr Henshaw held a position on the Accor NSW food and beverage committee assisting with many changes in operational procedures for the ACCOR brand in the region.

Mr Henshaw has a diploma in Business Management through Griffith University and is very excited about working with the new Director of Food and Beverage at Radisson Blu and the team across the entire operation.

Radisson Blu general manager Gerard Knight said Mr Henshaw will focus on training the front of house team in service standards.

He said this would be to ensure that as the asset improvement programme is rolled out, the team can deliver a standard of service to match the amazing new restaurant themes expected.
