Jack’s Nadi will rely on teamwork to beat Tacirua Transport Naitasiri on Saturday in the 2014 Skipper Cup semifinal.

Nadi Rugby Union team manager Noa Neivalu said they needed to improve from their last game and work as a team.
“Teamwork is the key,” Neivalu  said.

“Facing a team like Naitasiri and working together will get the job done and also maintain discipline.

“That is what we are working on because we cannot to give away easy points,” he said.

Nadi last won a trophy back in 2008 when they scooped the Digicel and the BSP Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy.
Neivalu is confident they will reach the Skipper final against BLK Nadroga.

“We last won a trophy back in 2008 and it’s long overdue and Naitasiri is a strong team and have won the  Farebrother Trophy and were also provincial champions. We have an uphill battle against us.

“We may be facing a tough game ,but our preparations are going as normal and we are preparing accordingly because when it comes to the semifinals, it’s a different game altogether.”

The jetsetters will be aiming to improve from their last game against RC Manubhai Suva as the side is injury free.

“We need to improve on our set pieces and our defence.

“We want to give Naitasiri a good game and it is important for us to win and we plan to do our best on the day.” Neivalu said.

Jack’s Nadi will take on Naitasiri on Saturday at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.
