Marist Brothers High School Under-16 team defeated Natabua High School 16-7 in their Coke Zero Deans Trophy final at Churchill Park, Lautoka, yesterday.

Man of the match Mitieli Cirikisuva described the win as tough.

“It was a really tough match but we managed to pull through,”he said.

Cirikisuva scored both tries for MBHS.

“Although I was named man of the match, it was team effort that got us the win.”

The 16-year-old dedicated the win to his parents and coaches.

“None of this would have been possible without the love and support of my parents, teammates and coach,”he said.

Other results: U14 QVS 24-MBHS 19, U15QVs 8-Ratu Navula 6, U17 MBHS 21-LMS 18, U19 RKS 24-7 Navuso.
